TASTE KOREA! COOKING CONTEST
Contestants will compete at City Square Mall Atrium on 17 & 18 March 2012 during the Culture We Love: Korean Festival 2012
Semi- Finals, 17 March 2012
Group 1 (10 Participants) – 11am to 1pm
Group 2 (10 Participants) – 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Each person will have to cook 2 Korean dishes, namely a) PAJEON and b) BULGOGI. The top 2 winners of each group will proceed to the finals on Sunday, 18 March
Finals, 18 March 2012
Finals (4 finalists) – 2pm – 3pm
The 4 finalists will each have to cook a dish using Kimchi as the main ingredient.

Preparation & Skill – 10%
Tidiness – 10%
Taste – 40%
Creativity – 20%
Presentation – 20%
Prizes:
1st Prize – 1 pair of Return Economy Air Ticket to Korea
2nd Prize - $400 Korean Restaurant Food Voucher
3rd Prize - $200 Korean Restaurant Food Voucher
4th Prize - $100 Korean Restaurant Food Voucher

Terms & Conditions
- Contest is open to all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 18yrs and above.
- Contest is strictly for amateurs who enjoy cooking as a hobby instead of cooking as a profession or gaining any form of income from it.
- A briefing session will be held prior to contest date. During the briefing, we will inform you the complete list of ingredients that will be provided on the day of contest.
- Participants have to utilize all ingredients provided.
- Cooking utensils will be provided.
- Participant must bring own crockery to present dish as points are given for presentation.
- Participants are allowed to bring and add other fresh ingredients (eg. Vegetables). Non-fresh ingredients like pastes, seasonings and flavor enhancers are not permitted.
- Prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferrable.
